Creamy Chicken With Tarragon Recipe
I got this recipe from a cookbook many years ago and it remains a family favorite. It's so easy and super delicious. This is definitely not a low fat recipe, but is really good once in a while.

Ingredients
  • 5 chicken breast fillets, cut into 1/2 inch slices
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp chopped French tarragon
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • Fresh ground pepper (to taste)
  • Kosher salt (to taste)

Directions
  1. Lightly season the chicken with the pepper.
  2. Heat a frying pan or wok over high heat and swirl the oil to coat.
  3. Add the chicken, in batches, and cook over medium heat for 3-4 minutes, or until browned.
  4. Return all chicken to the pan and stir in the tarragon.
  5. Add the cream, bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes (or until the sauce has thickened slightly).
  6. Add the lemon juice, salt and pepper.
  7. **I serve with egg noodles and a nice green salad***
