How to make it

  • Pick over beans and rinse them once, then soak overnight.
  • Throw the 'fart water' (as grandma used to say) onto your plants, it's got good stuff for growin'.
  • The soaked beans go into a crockpot or slow oven (300 deg) for about 2 - 3 hours with the rest of the ingredients.
  • Debone and defat your meat, add the meat back to the beans.
  • Adjust for S&P and serve.

    I love your sense of humor in your cooking & this is a recipe that I'm going to try as soon as my wife will get out of the Kitchen and give me some room .
