    I think this frosting had the consistency of soft marshmallows. My mom used to make a similar one.

    I do not know if it does. I got the recipe from my Grandma and everytime I make the cake, the kids eat it before I get to the frosting. LOL sorry

    hi tilelaith ,does this icing harden like a royal icing ? perhaps....can i use it to write on the cake?
