Ingredients

1/2 cup peanutbutter

1/3 cup shortening

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 1/2 cups brownsugar

2 eggs

2 cups flour

2 teaspoons baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup milk

Icing

1/4 cup peanutbutter

3 c ups powder sugar

4-5 tablespoon milk

Directions

Cream together peanutbutter,shortening and vanilla. Gradually add brown sugar, beating till light and fluffy.Add eggs one at a time,beating well after each.Sift together dry ingredients, add alternately with milk.Fill cupcake liners placed in cupcake tin 1/2 full.Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes or till tested done. Cool and frost

Icing

Blend peanutbutter and sugar, add enough milk to make a creamy consistency.

I also use this icing to frost chocolate grahm crackers halves for a quick cookie in summer time.
