Shanghai Hot Soup

- vegetable stock 1.50 litre shopping list
- 1 carrot julienned. shopping list
- 1 green pepper julienned shopping list
- 1 celery stem chopped fine. shopping list
- 5 French beans julienned. shopping list
- green peas 150gms shopping list
- cabbage 100gms julienned shopping list
- mushrooms 5- 7 sliced. shopping list
- 1 white onion chopped finely shopping list
- 4 pods of garlic finely crushed. shopping list
- 1 thai spicy chilly chopped (optional) shopping list
- Seasoning; salt for taste shopping list
- White pepper powder- 1/2 tsp shopping list
- butter-1 tsp; shopping list
- soy sauce -onetbsp. shopping list
- White vinegar- 1 tsp. shopping list
- Garnish: chopped spring onions or cilantro. shopping list
How to make it
- Add all ingredients to the boiling stock in a saucepan.
- Keep it covered for 15.-20 minutes until all vegetables are cooked well in high flame.
- Add the seasonings one by one when the vegetables are well cooked.
- To garnish sprinkle with chopped spring onions/cilantro. Serve hot.
