Rolled Meatloaf Italiano

- 1 1/2 lb.ground beef shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 3/4 C.cracker crumbs shopping list
- 1/2 C.finely chopped onion shopping list
- 2 (8oz) cans of seasoned tomato sauce shopping list
- 1 tsp.salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon each:oregano and italian seasoning shopping list
- 1/8 tsp.black pepper shopping list
- 2 1/2 C.shredded mozzarella cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Combine ground beef,egg,crumbs,onion,1/3 C tomato sauce and spices.
- Mix well and shape into a flat rectangle,about 10" x 12" on wax paper.
- Sprinkle on 2 C.mozzarella cheese evenly over meat mixture.
- Roll up like a jelly roll,and pinch off the ends to seal.
- Bake in shallow baking dish for 1 hr.
- Drain excess fat and pour remaining sauce and cheese over top.
- Bake for additional 15 minutes.
