Seaweed Pudding

- 1 cup Irish moss (Chondrus crispus) - get it at a health food store shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 4 cups milk shopping list
How to make it
- Soak Irish moss in water for a few minutes.
- Clean and drain in a colander.
- In a double boiler, cook milk and Irish moss for 20 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Add salt and sugar.
- Cool 5 to 10 minutes more.
- Strain out seaweed.
- Add vanilla.
- Chill.
- As I recall, it was WONDERFUL for a nervous tummy.
