Chicken Or Turkey Tetrazzini  EASY Recipe
A recipe I've used for years, the best tetrazzini and no fuss.

Ingredients
  • 1 12 oz pkg fresh Chinese style noodles (produce section)
  • 1 10.5 oz can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/3 lb fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 1/2 c fresh chicken or turkey (may use leftovers, also ham is a good sub as well).
  • 1 1/4 c milk
  • 3/4 c shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 c grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 T butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced-pressed
  • 1 1/2 T sherry (not cooking sherry)
  • Parsley

Directions
  1. Saute garlic in butter, add chicken and mushrooms; finish cooking. Add soup, milk, cheddar cheese and sherry. Cook, stirring constantly until cheese is melted.
  2. Cook noodles as package directs. Do not rinse.
  3. Combine noodles with meat mixture. Pour into shallow buttered 1 1/2 qt casserole. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake at 375 degrees, uncovered for 15 minutes or till bubbling. For a browner top, place under broiler.
  4. It's also fun to bake in individual ramekins, looks a bit more "upscale".
  5. Garnish with parsley
