Chocolate Covered Strawberries Recipe Epqueen / All my dishes

Easy and GOOD! Strawberry season is almost here, so take advantage of this offering. My 12 year old son often surprises me with this after a long hard day at work.

Ingredients
  • 1 qt. strawberries, washed, leaves left on
  • 1 8 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 8 oz. pkg. white chocolate chips

Directions
  1. Put semi-sweet chips in top of double boiler to melt. .
  2. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper (or foil or wax paper).
  3. Using the leaves, dip berries in semi-sweet chocolate, giving them a thick chocolate layer. Place on cookie sheet. Fridge till set.
  4. Melt 1/2 pkg. of white chocolate chips in double boiler.
  5. Put in zip lock bag, remove as much air as possible,seal, and snip a SMALL corner.
  6. Drizzle melted white chocolate over chilled berries.
  7. Return to fridge till set.
