- 2 hard boiled eggs shopping list
- 1/2 lb pepperoni shopping list
- 3/4 lb italian sausage shopping list
- 2 oz ham shopping list
- 1/2 lb prosciutto shopping list
- 8 oz mozzerella shopping list
- 8 oz provolone shopping list
- 8 - 10 oz ricotta shopping list
- Grated Locatelli cheese shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 2 frozen pie crusts shopping list
- salt, pepper & garlic to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 400
- Allow at least one of the pie crust to partially thaw.
- Remove sausage from casings and mash into little pieces, browning them in a medium pan
- While sausage is cooking, in a food processor, chop ham, prosciutto, pepperoni, hard boiled eggs, mozzerella and provolone.
- In a large bowl, mix, BY HAND, ricotta, spices, grated cheese, and raw eggs with chopped ingredients and cooked sausage.
- Spread mixture into pie crust that has NOT been allowed to thaw.
- Flour a surface and remove thawed pie crust from pan.
- Roll or spread it out with your fingers so it becomes the pie's top and seal the pie, cutting slits in the top, and brushing with a bit of water.
- Bake at 400 for 15 minutes, lowering the heat to 325 for another 45 or until the crust is golden.
- Let it stand for five minutes before cutting it.
