Honey Bun Cake Recipe

How to make it

  • Heat oven to 350*
  • Spray 13 X 9 pan with cooking spray
  • Beat cake mix, oil, eggs and sour cream with mixer on med. for 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally.
  • Spread 1/2 of batter in pan.
  • Combine brown sugar, pecans and cinnamon in small bowl.
  • Sprinkle over batter in pan.
  • Carefully spread remaining batter over pecan mixture.
  • Bake 45 to 50 minutes. Cool 10 minutes.
  • Prick surface of cake with a fork and spread glaze over top. Cool 30 minutes.
  • POWDERED SUGAR GLAZE
  • 1-1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tspn vanilla
  • 2 or 3 tblsp milk
  • Stir together in small bowl until snooth and thin enough to drizzle.
