Simple Spelt Roti

- 1 cup spelt flour shopping list
- 1/2 cup water shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
How to make it
- Mix well with hands to make a soft dough, but not a loose one.
- Cover and let rest for 1/2 hour.
- Make 8 balls from the dough.
- Dust a work surface with flour and roll out 1 round at a time, as thin as you can. It should be thinner than the pie crust.
- Heat a dry, non-stick frypan to medium-high.
- Put the discs on the hot griddle for 35 to 40 seconds, or until brown spots appear on the underside. Baste the top side with water.
- Flip and cook other side for 25-30 seconds.
- Keep warm in a clean towel or layer between waxed paper for freezing.
