Very Simple Marinara Sauce Recipe

This is a very simple sauce that doesn't take all day to cook to be good.
Serve over spaghetti or other pasta dishes

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup onions, diced
- 2 Tbsp. garlic, minced
- 4 cups fresh tomatoes, seeded and diced
- 1 Tbs. sugar
- 1 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil
Directions
- Saute' onions in a large sauté pan over medium high heat for 2 minutes.
- Add garlic and sauté for one more minute.
- Add tomatoes, sugar, salt and red pepper flakes, bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring frequently, stir in fresh basil.
