Very Simple Marinara Sauce Recipe
This is a very simple sauce that doesn't take all day to cook to be good. Serve over spaghetti or other pasta dishes

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup onions, diced
  • 2 Tbsp. garlic, minced
  • 4 cups fresh tomatoes, seeded and diced
  • 1 Tbs. sugar
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil

Directions
  1. Saute' onions in a large sauté pan over medium high heat for 2 minutes.
  2. Add garlic and sauté for one more minute.
  3. Add tomatoes, sugar, salt and red pepper flakes, bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring frequently, stir in fresh basil.
