I first had this lovely drink about 10 years ago at a brew pub. At first it sounded so odd to me, but when I thought about the flavors in a great porter -- caramel, chocolate, prunes, the idea of turning it into a dessert didn't seem so odd after all
Ingredients
- 6 - 8 oz of the best porter you can find shopping list
- 1 scoop of premium chocolate ice cream shopping list
- chocolate syrup shopping list
- whipped cream shopping list
How to make it
- Put ice cream into a frosted mug
- Carefully pour in the porter, tipping the mug to minimize foaming
- Top with whipped cream and chocolate syrup.
- Serve with a straw and a spoon
