At first it sounded so odd to me, but when I thought about the flavors in a great porter -- caramel, chocolate, prunes, the idea of turning it into a dessert didn't seem so odd after all... Ingredients

6 - 8 oz of the best porter you can find

1 scoop of premium chocolate ice cream

chocolate syrup

whipped cream

Directions

Put ice cream into a frosted mug

Carefully pour in the porter, tipping the mug to minimize foaming

Top with whipped cream and chocolate syrup.

Serve with a straw and a spoon
