Herbed Biscuits Recipe
HERBED BISCUITS This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Montoya Estate in Plano, Texas in 1997.

Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon instant minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 10 ounce can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits

Directions
  1. Pour melted butter into an 8" round cake pan.
  2. Sprinkle onion, dill weed and poppy seeds evenly over butter then set aside.
  3. Place parmesan cheese in a large heavy duty zip top plastic bag.
  4. Cut each biscuit into 4 pieces then add biscuit pieces to bag and shake to coat.
  5. Arrange coated biscuit pieces in prepared pan then sprinkle with remaining parmesan.
  6. Bake at 400 for 15 minutes then serve immediately.
