How to make it

  • Stuff the dates with the nuts, in the space left by the pit.
  • Place the stuffed dates in a small saucepan. Sprinkle with pepper. Add the wine, then drizzle honey over all.
  • Cook over medium heat until the skins begin to peel off the fruit.
  • Transfer the dates to a serving dish and allow to cool slightly before serving.
