Ingredients
  • 4 pounds Honey
  • 1 gallon water
  • 1/2 ounce ginger
  • Wine yeast

Directions
  1. Dissolve the honey in the water with the ginger.
  2. Boil the honey water for about 45 minutes, then pour it into a barrel or wooden container.
  3. Before the water cools completely, add the yeast and allow it to ferment.
  4. After fermentation stops, seal the barrel and store the wine for at least six months before you drink it.
  5. Calories per serving (4 ounces): 557
  6. Diabetic Exchange per serving: 10 other Carbohydrates
