Cheesey Two-layer Veggie Meat Casserole

- 3 lbs. ground beef or chuck shopping list
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped shopping list
- 1 package beefy onion soup mix shopping list
- 2 cans cream mushroom soup shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- 1 (16oz.) bag frozen veggies shopping list
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded shopping list
- 1 cup monterrey jack cheese, shredded shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375 F.
- In a large skillet, mix beef, onion and beefy onion soup mix. Brown and drain.
- In a 9x13 pan, place half of beef mixture on bottom.
- Place half of mixed veggies on top. Place 1 cup cheddar cheese, then repeat beef and veggie layers.
- Mix soup and milk together and pour evenly on top.
- Top with remaining cheddar and monterrey jack.
- Cook for 30 to 45 minutes.
