- 4 cups flour shopping list
- 8 tspn baking powd shopping list
- 1 tblspn sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped cherries,or fresh cherries shopping list
- 4 tblspn butter shopping list
- 2 egg yolk shopping list
- sour milk shopping list
How to make it
- sift dry ingred
- beat egg yolks with about a cup of maas,you might need more to make a soft sticky dough
- the secret is the wetter the dough the softer and lighter the scones
- add cherries
- mix lightly to form dough
- roll out on a floured surface and cut with a scone cutter
- brush with egg and milk
- bake at 180 degrees,til light brown
- serve with a good spread of butter
