This dish is very easy and tasty!

Ingredients
  • French Onion Soup
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 onions sliced thin
  • 1/3 cup red cooking wine
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • pepper to taste
  • a dash of basil

Directions
  1. Saute onions till softened in butter, then add the other ingredients.
  2. Simmer for at least 15 min.
  3. Pour in bowls all toasted bread then mozarella chesse on top also
  4. sprinkle with some parmesan.

Use red wine, not cooking wine. It adds a peppery flavor without adding more pepper, which gives a smoother richness to the tastebuds.
