This is an easy dessert to make with little prep time

Ingredients
  • 1- 18 oz package of dark fudge cake mix
  • 1- 20 ox can of cherry pie filling
  • 1 teaspoon of almond extract
  • 2 well-beaten eggs
  • cherry icing (store bought is fine)

Directions
  1. Preheat oven at 350 degrees
  2. Place all ingrediants into a bowl and mix well by hand
  3. Pour batter into lighty floured and greased 9 x 13 in. cake pan
  4. Bake at 350 degrees until done. About 20-25 minutes.
  5. Let cool and ice with the cherry icing.
  6. (May use chocolate or vanilla icing if so desired or sprinkle powdered sugar over top)
