Deep Dish Pizza

- 1-lb lean ground beef shopping list
- 1 chopped onion shopping list
- 1 julienned green bell pepper shopping list
- jalapenos (if desired) shopping list
- Pizza Quick (I use the Traditional flavor) shopping list
- 1/2-lb freshly shredded mild cheddar cheese shopping list
- 2 (6-oz) pkg of sliced mozzarella cheese shopping list
- 1-pkg boxed pizza mix shopping list
- a small can sliced black olives, drained shopping list
- green olives, halved (to taste) shopping list
- 1 ripe red tomato, thinly sliced shopping list
- 1 jar of marinated artichoke hearts, drained and quartered shopping list
- pepperoni shopping list
How to make it
- Brown down the ground beef.
- Add the bell pepper and onion toward the end of browing down the ground beef and cook until tender-
- Drain.
- Return to pan and stir in the Pizza Quick and the Herb Spice Mix from the boxed pizza mix-
- Simmer for 15 minutes-
- Heat oven to 425 degrees-
- Prepare dough as directed on boxed pizza package-
- With fingers, press dough into bottom and half way up the side of greased 9X13-inch baking dish-
- Cover with 1/2 of the mozzarella slices and 1/2 of the meat sauce-
- Top with the jala[enos (if desired), the sliced tomatoes, the mushrooms, and the pepperoni-
- Bake in preheat oven for 25 minutes-
- Let cool 5 minutes minutes before slicing to serve-

- Add the olives and the artichoke hearts-
- Cover with the remaining half of the mozzarella and the remaining 1/2 of the met sauce-
- Sprinkle the top of the pizza with
