Deep Fried Bread Or Poori

- 4 C wheat flour and pinch of salt , sifted . shopping list
- water shopping list
- oil or ghee for deep frying . shopping list
How to make it
- Add water bit by bit and knead the dough until it is smooth and firm
- Roll it out into discs of approximately the size of palm
- Deep fry it one at a time
- When the bread is puffed on one side, turn it over and cook for a few seconds, until it is golden and crispy
- Drain on paper towel
- Serve it with a meal , sweets , chutney , potato masal , sauce , yogurt or even on it's own as a snack .
