How to make it

  • Cut tempeh (I use 3 grain tempeh) into 1 inch slices, (about three)
  • Heat pan with generous amount of olive oil
  • place tempeh in
  • cook until golden brown and crispy
  • add a little or a lot of soy sauce to taste (optional)
  • add BBQ sauce until completely covered
  • Toast bun or leave it fluffy, and enjoy
  • You can add favorite lettuce, or dark greens even vegan cole slaw
