This is a beautiful salad to serve in a large glass bowl. It is not only beautiful but everyone loves it. It is unique because of its combination of flavors

Ingredients
  • Salad
  • Spring Mix lettuce (I also add enough green leaf lettuce to where it will all fill a trifle bowl)
  • pecans or walnuts (about a 1/2 cup or so)
  • Jack Cheese (amount is up to you)
  • sliced fresh strawberries (amount is up to you)
  • Dressing
  • 1/2 C. red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 C. olive oil
  • 1/3 C. sugar
  • 1 glove minced garlic
  • 1/4 t. paprika
  • black pepper

Directions
  1. Toss Spring Mix and green leaf with nuts and cheese.
  2. Mix dressing well in separate bowl.
  3. Right before serving add strawberries and dressing.
  4. Toss well.
  5. There is usually no leftovers!
