This is a fattening but delicious chocolate bars.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 1/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup self rising flour, (I use red band)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 (6oz.) or 1 cup package semisweet chocolate chips

Directions
  1. Preheat oven at 350F.
  2. Grease 9-inch square pan.
  3. Melt margarine in large saucepan over medium heat.
  4. Stir in all remaining ingredients in order listed, mixing well after each addition. Spread batter in greased pan.
  5. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until top is deep golden brown.
  6. Cut into 16 bars.
