My Deluxe Grilled Turkey Sandwich Recipe Pleasantvalleycabins / All my dishes

All the flavors in this sandwich meld together so well. Depending on the size of the bread and the amount of fillings you use, it's great for lunch or dinner, paired with a soup or salad. I'm hoping to try it soon as a panini with focaccia bread

Ingredients
  • 2 pieces of sliced deli bread suitable for grilling
  • I used Italian with herbs sprinkled on top
  • butter
  • roasted garlic onion jam I used Stonewall Kitchen's
  • 4 slices of very thinly sliced honey roasted turkey
  • 1 slice Provolone cheese
  • roasted red pepper slices
  • feta cheese
  • mayo

Directions
  1. Butter the deli bread on each side
  2. Thinly cover the other side of one slice with the garlic onion jam
  3. Place buttered side down in skillet on medium high
  4. Place turkey on top of jam
  5. I recommend loosely layering each slice rather than just placing 4 straight layers
  6. Fold Provolone cheese and half and layer it on top of turkey
  7. Lay roasted red pepper slices across the cheese
  8. Place feta cheese across the sandwich snugging it between the pepper slices
  9. Thinly spread other slice of bread with mayo
  10. Place it on top of the feta cheese
  11. Press down a little to pack it a bit
  12. Grill until toasted golden brown and flip and grill till done
