- 1/2 pound salt pork shopping list
- 1 large white onion shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups cold mashed potatoes shopping list
- 2 cups flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper shopping list
- Cream gravy shopping list
How to make it
- Cut meat into 1/2” cubes and fry with diced onion until nearly done.
- Combine mashed potato, unbeaten egg, salt and pepper then blend well.
- Add 1/2 of the flour and mix well then knead the rest of flour into dough using a bread board.
- Make tiny balls and open the center of each.
- Into this opening put a portion of the meat and onion mixture.
- Close the opening and roll in flour then drop into a kettle of boiling water and cook 30 minutes.
- Serve with a cream gravy.
