How to make it

  • If desired, sprinkle oatmeal on a cookie sheet and heat in a slow oven til golden brown.
  • Heat the orange juice until near-boiling in a small saucepan.
  • Add the honey and stir.
  • Pour the juice into 2 separate glasses, add a jigger of whiskey to each, and top with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
  • Sprinkle with hot toasted oatmeal and serve with a hearty "slainte!".
  • This is an appropriate drink for Beltaine.
