Bavarian Sauerkraut Salad

Got this back in the 60's. The woman who made this for a picnic didn't want to give anyone the recipe. So her daughter gave it to all of us the next day! Thanks, Merry! Great as a salad or on bratwurst or other German sausages.
Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup vinegar shopping list
- 2 16 ounce cans sauerkraut, Bavarian style, drained well shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups celery, chopped fine shopping list
- 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped fine shopping list
- 1 small onion, chopped fine shopping list
- 1/2 cup pimiento, chopped fine shopping list
How to make it
- Mix and refrigerate overnight. Good as salad or as relish for German sausages.
