How to make it

  • Cut chicken into 8 pieces.
  • Combine remaining ingredients in large bowl.
  • Add chicken then toss to coat and marinate 2 hours at room temperature stirring occasionally.
  • Remove chicken from marinade and reserve some of the marinade for basting and rest for sauce.
  • Roast chicken uncovered at 400 for 40 minutes basting as needed.
  • Heat reserved marinade with cornstarch until thickened and serve as sauce.
