Indonesian Chicken

- 3 pounds broiler chicken shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger shopping list
- 1 cup sweet soy sauce shopping list
- 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce shopping list
- 2 garlic cloves shopping list
- cornstarch to thicken shopping list
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice shopping list
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted shopping list
How to make it
- Cut chicken into 8 pieces.
- Combine remaining ingredients in large bowl.
- Add chicken then toss to coat and marinate 2 hours at room temperature stirring occasionally.
- Remove chicken from marinade and reserve some of the marinade for basting and rest for sauce.
- Roast chicken uncovered at 400 for 40 minutes basting as needed.
- Heat reserved marinade with cornstarch until thickened and serve as sauce.
