Parmesan Breadsticks

- 1 3/4 C all purpose flour shopping list
- 1/2 C parmesan cheese shopping list
- 1 tsp fresh or dried herbs ( rosemary ) shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp pepper shopping list
- 1/2 tsp dry yeast shopping list
- 3/4 C warm water shopping list
- 3 tbsp semolina flour or cornmeal shopping list
- 1 tsp olive oil shopping list
How to make it
- Mix 3/4 C flour with cheese , herbs , salt and yeast
- Blend in water .
- Add the 1 C flour to form soft dough .
- Dust the work surface .
- Knead the dough on it for 10 mins until elastic
- Divide into 2 portions and cover with damp towel and rest for 10 mins
- Sprinkle two 8 by 6 inch waxed paper sheet with 1 tbsp of semolina on each and pat dough pieces into 5 by 3 inch rectangles.
- Sprinkle 1 tbsp of semolina on each again .
- Brush with oil and cover with towel .
- Let it stand for 30 mins .
- Cut each into 10 equal strips .
- Leave it to rise , for 10 mins , uncovered .
- Pre heat oven to 200 deg .
- Twist and turn and stretch them to make each of them longer .
- Place on the cooking sheet and bake for 10 mins .
