Chipotle Chile Slaw

- 3 chipotle chilies shopping list
- 1 garlic clove shopping list
- 1 cup mayonnaise shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice shopping list
- 1/2 cabbage coarsely shredded shopping list
How to make it
- If using dried chipotles soak in hot water until softened.
- Using a mortar and pestle or food processor mash or puree chilies with garlic clove.
- Blend into mayonnaise then stir mixture into shredded cabbage.
- Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice then refrigerate until ready to serve.
