Lettuce Wraps Recipe
The oyster sauce is the secret ingredient in this dish. It really brings out the flavor.

Ingredients
  • 3-4 chicken breasts, cubed
  • 3 green onions
  • 1 can water chestnuts
  • 1 handfull of fresh bean sprouts (can also use canned)
  • 1 t. grated ginger
  • 1/4 t. pepper flakes
  • 3 T. brown sugar
  • oyster sauce
  • soy sauce
  • 1 c. cooked rice
  • 1 head iceberg lettuce
  • **Peanut Sauce**
  • 1/4 c. mayonaise
  • 1/4 c. chuncky peanut butter
  • 2 T. water
  • 2 T. honey
  • 1 T. soy sauce
  • 1 t. grated ginger

Directions
  1. On stovetop, cook chicken with onions, ginger, pepper flakes, and brown sugar.
  2. Add enough oyster sauce and soy sauce to taste.
  3. Add bean sprouts and water chestnuts.
  4. When heated through, add mixture to rice.
  5. In seperate saucepan, mix together mayonaise, peanut butter, water, honey, soy sauce and ginger.
  6. Heat through.
  7. To serve, put rice mixture on lettuce leaf. Add peanut sauce. Roll up.
