Homemade Gum Drops

This is homemade gum drops; flavor as you like, and color as you like ; make the pieces any size you want
Ingredients
- 4 cups white sugar shopping list
- 1- 1/2 cups boiling water shopping list
- 2 envelopes knox gelatin shopping list
- flavorings and food colorings shopping list
- use the candy flavorings.they have so many like watermelon, cotton candy, lemon strawberry, tutti frutti, banana creme and so on shopping list
How to make it
- Soak gelatin in 1/4 cup cold water for 5 minutes.
- add boiling water, when dissolved , add sugar, boil slowly for 15 minutes.
- prior to pouring candy into the pans dip bottom of pans into cold water for a minute. then take pans out
- then divide in 2 pans add flavoring and coloring, as desired.
- let stand over night.
- then cut into small squares or any shape roll in powdered sugar..
- eat and enjoy store with container with lid. ..... use wax paper to layer candies. unless you eat them all.............
