How to make it

  • Thaw scallops, if frozen, pat dry with paper towels. Thread scallops onto four 8-10 inch skewers, leaving a 1/4 inch space between each piece.
  • Preheat broiler, placed skewers on the greased unheated rack or a broiler pan. (can be cook on a grill)
  • In a small bowl stir together melted butter, pepper and paprika. Brush half of the butter mixture over scallops.
  • Broil about 8-10 mintues, turning and brushing with remaining butter mixture throughout broiling.
  • FOR SAUCE: Whisk together sour cream, mustard, lemon juice and dill until well blended. Chill before serving.
  • Serving scallops with dill sauce or saute on top
