Scallops With Dill Sauce

- 1 lb fresh or frozen sea scallops shopping list
- 3 tbsp. butter, melted shopping list
- 11/4 tsp black pepper shopping list
- 1/8 tsp paprika shopping list
- 8 skewers shopping list
- FOR SAUCE; 1/2 cup sour cream shopping list
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Dijon-style prepared mustard shopping list
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice shopping list
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill shopping list
How to make it
- Thaw scallops, if frozen, pat dry with paper towels. Thread scallops onto four 8-10 inch skewers, leaving a 1/4 inch space between each piece.
- Preheat broiler, placed skewers on the greased unheated rack or a broiler pan. (can be cook on a grill)
- In a small bowl stir together melted butter, pepper and paprika. Brush half of the butter mixture over scallops.
- Broil about 8-10 mintues, turning and brushing with remaining butter mixture throughout broiling.
- FOR SAUCE: Whisk together sour cream, mustard, lemon juice and dill until well blended. Chill before serving.
- Serving scallops with dill sauce or saute on top
