How to make it

  • Sort beans and cover with water.
  • Soak overnight OR bring to a boil, turn heat off, cover and let sit for 1 hour.
  • Cook till very tender with the cover off over low heat for as long as it takes.
  • Towards the end of cooking, let the water evaporate till there is just 1/2 inch on the bottom
  • Add salt, butter and garlic
  • Stir and inhale the aroma.
  • You can eat this alone or with buttered french bread, but honestly I usually just eat it by itself...it's that good.
