Savoury Pork On Steam Tofu

- 1 block of silken tofu shopping list
- 1/4 lb of ground pork shopping list
- 2 tbsp of dried shrimps shopping list
- 1 tbsp of dried onion (can be found in most Asian and Thai grocers) shopping list
- 2 stalks of green onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 tsp oyster sauce shopping list
- 2 tsp soy sauce shopping list
- 1/2 cup of water shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- sugar to taste shopping list
- A few drops of sesame oil shopping list
- white pepper powder to taste shopping list
- 1 tsp vegetable oil shopping list
How to make it
- Soak the dried shrimps in warm water for 10 minutes.
- Drain and chopped the dried shrimps into small pieces.
- Steam the tofu for 5 minutes and set aside.
- Heat up a wok with some oil and stir fry the ground pork and dried shrimps until fragant.
- Add in the water, oyster sauce, soy sauce and bring it to boil.
- Add in the green onion, sesame oil, salt and sugar (to taste) and white pepper powder.
- Quick stir for 30 seconds and pour the toppings onto the steamed tofu.
- Garnish with dried onions.
