Penzeys Baked Oatmeal

- 2/14 C. quick cooking or old fashion oats, uncooked shopping list
- 2/3 C. firmly packed brown sugar - no reason why you couldn't use brown sugar Splenda shopping list
- 3/4 C. raisins or craisins shopping list
- 1/2 C. chopped walnuts shopping list
- 1 t. cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2 t. salt shopping list
- 3 13 C. skim milk shopping list
- 4 egg whites, lightly beaten shopping list
- 1 t. vegetable oil shopping list
- 1 t. vanilla extract shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350. Spray an 8" glass baking dish with Pam. In large bowl, combine oats, sugar, raisins, walnuts, cinnamon and salt. Mix well.
- In medium bowl, combine milk, egg whites, oil and vanilla. Mix well.
- Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix well. Pour into baking dish.
- Bake 60 minutes or until center is set and firm to touch. Cool slightly. Serve topped with milk or yogurt and fresh fruit if desired.
- NOTE: Be sure to use certified gluten-free oats to make this gf.
