PEPPER- JACK -CHEESE- STICKS

- 1 POUND pepper-JACK cheese shopping list
- 3 CUPS all-purpose flour shopping list
- 3 eggs BEATEN shopping list
- 3 CUPS CRUSHED corn flakes shopping list
- oil FOR DEEP-FAT FRYING shopping list
- salsa AND guacamole, OR RANCH.. FOR DIPPING shopping list
How to make it
- CUT CHEESE INTO 2-3/4 INCH STICKS,PLACE THE FLOUR, EGGS AND CORNFLAKES IN 3 SEPARATE, SHALLOW BOWLS
- COAT THE CHEESE STICKS WITH FLOUR FIRST , THEN DIP IN EGG, THEN ROLLIN CORNFLAKES UNTIL WELL COATED.
- LET STAND 5 MINUTES
- IN A DEEP FAT-FRYER HEAT OIL TO 375 DEGREES, OR ELECTRIC SKILLET.
- COOK CHEESE STICKS IN SMALL BATCHES FOR 3O SEC OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN.
- DRAIN ON PAPER TOWEL AND LET STAND FOR 3 MINUTES
- SERVE WITH RANCH, OR SALSA, OR GUACAMOLE.
- YIELDS 2- 1/2 DOZEN

- I FOUND IN THE CHEESE ISLE A BRAND OF PEPPER JACK CHEESE CALLED STICKSTERS AND THEY ARE ALREADY IN STICKS FOR YOU TO CUT, VERY EASY...........

I have been wanting a great recipe for cheese sticks. My girls just discovered their great love for them, so I wanted to try some new recipes. Great one! I can't wait to try it!
