Ingredients

How to make it

  • CUT CHEESE INTO 2-3/4 INCH STICKS,PLACE THE FLOUR, EGGS AND CORNFLAKES IN 3 SEPARATE, SHALLOW BOWLS
  • COAT THE CHEESE STICKS WITH FLOUR FIRST , THEN DIP IN EGG, THEN ROLLIN CORNFLAKES UNTIL WELL COATED.
  • LET STAND 5 MINUTES
  • IN A DEEP FAT-FRYER HEAT OIL TO 375 DEGREES, OR ELECTRIC SKILLET.
  • COOK CHEESE STICKS IN SMALL BATCHES FOR 3O SEC OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN.
  • DRAIN ON PAPER TOWEL AND LET STAND FOR 3 MINUTES
  • SERVE WITH RANCH, OR SALSA, OR GUACAMOLE.
  • YIELDS 2- 1/2 DOZEN

  • I FOUND IN THE CHEESE ISLE A BRAND OF PEPPER JACK CHEESE CALLED STICKSTERS AND THEY ARE ALREADY IN STICKS FOR YOU TO CUT, VERY EASY...........

    I've been looking for a recipe like this. We discovered at Red Robin in Canada Jalapeno cheese sticks (soo good!!). The dipping sauce is Red pepper jelly! The best ever. So I can't wait to try this recipe.
