A Banana Split Recipe
Do you ever yearn for an old fashioned banana split? Your family will love you for this, or just be kind to yourself, and you will love you for it! Children of all ages love 'em!!

Ingredients
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 3 scoops ice cream, preferably vanila, chocolate, and strawberry
  • 3 tablespoons chocolate sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butterscotch sauce
  • 4 tablespoons strawberry preserves, fresh berries, or pinapple preserves
  • Whipped cream (make it fancy with the canned Redi-Whip)
  • Finely chopped nuts
  • Maraschino cherries

Directions
  1. Peel banana
  2. Cut lengthwise into halves
  3. Place halves, cut side up, side by side in a shallow dish
  4. Place scoops of ice cream side by side on top of banana halves
  5. Pour chocolate sauce over on portion of ice cream
  6. Pour butterscotch over another portion of ice cream
  7. Cover some of the scoops with strawberry preserves or fresh berries
  8. Show you artistic talent with whipped cream, punch the button and have a good time
  9. Top it off with nuts, and cherries
  10. Now you are set to go, and if you make one for everyone, they will love you for it OR
  11. If you let everyone make their own they will love you for it
  12. This is really all about love!
