A Banana Split

Do you ever yearn for an old fashioned banana split? Your family will love you for this, or just be kind to yourself, and you will love you for it! Children of all ages love 'em!!
Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana shopping list
- 3 scoops ice cream, preferably vanila, chocolate, and strawberry shopping list
- 3 tablespoons chocolate sauce shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butterscotch sauce shopping list
- 4 tablespoons strawberry preserves, fresh berries, or pinapple preserves shopping list
- whipped cream (make it fancy with the canned Redi-Whip) shopping list
- Finely chopped nuts shopping list
- maraschino cherries shopping list
How to make it
- Peel banana
- Cut lengthwise into halves
- Place halves, cut side up, side by side in a shallow dish
- Place scoops of ice cream side by side on top of banana halves
- Pour chocolate sauce over on portion of ice cream
- Pour butterscotch over another portion of ice cream
- Cover some of the scoops with strawberry preserves or fresh berries
- Show you artistic talent with whipped cream, punch the button and have a good time
- Top it off with nuts, and cherries
- Now you are set to go, and if you make one for everyone, they will love you for it OR
- If you let everyone make their own they will love you for it
- This is really all about love!
