Ingredients
  • 2 cups cream
  • 1 cup crumbled gorgonzola cheese
  • 16 jumbo shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 4 Tbs extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 ounces brandy

Directions
  1. In double boiler over simmering heat combine cream and cheese and stir until cheese is smooth.
  2. Set aside.
  3. Season shrimp with salt and pepper,
  4. Dredge shrimp in flour, shake off excess flour and cook shrimp in a skillet with the olive oil over medium high heat, until golden. about 2 minutes per side.
  5. Add the brandy to deglaze the pan, stirring about a minute.
  6. Add thecream and cheese mixture and simmer another minute.
  7. Transfer shrimp mixture to a platter and serve at once.
