Boston Corn Cake

- 1/2 C cornmeal shopping list
- 1 C flour shopping list
- 1 C milk shopping list
- 1/2 C sugar shopping list
- 1/2 teas salt shopping list
- 1 Tbl Melted butter shopping list
- 1 Medium egg, lightly beaten shopping list
- 2 teas baking powder shopping list
How to make it
- Combine dry ingredients and sift into medium bowl. Blend in Egg and milk. Melt butter in a 8" iron skillet. Remove from heat. Immediately stir in cornmeal mixture. Bake at 425 degrees for about 30 minutes. You may add melted butter to mixture and bake in an 8" baking pan if your kitchen is lacking ironware.
