Although I make wonderful sesame peanut noodles, sometimes I do like recipes like this one without the peanut butter.

Ingredients
  • 12 oz Thin dry Asian noodles
  • 2 Tbs Sesame seeds
  • 1/4 c Mirin ( sweet Japanese Cooking wine )
  • 3 Tbs Soy sauce
  • 1 Tbs Minced fresh ginger
  • 1Tbs Sesame seed oil ( Asian )
  • 1 Tsp Sugar

Directions
  1. This is a delicious non peanut recipe
  2. Cook noodles and drain.
  3. In a small pan over medium heat stir and toast the sesame seeds.
  4. Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl and stir to blend well.
  5. Add the noodles and toasted sesame seeds.
  6. Toss well and cover and chill until serving time.
  7. Excellent served as a side dish with grilled salmon.
