How to make it

  • Wash fish fillets and pat dry.
  • Whisk the egg - depending on size you may need 2 eggs.
  • Dip the fish into the Egg mix and then
  • Put the breadcrumbs on a plate and coat the fish in the breadcrumbs
  • Put Olive oil in the pan, and lightly fry each fillet turning when the first side is cooked
  • Serve with slices of Lemon, or, if desired, Tarter Sauce.
  • Serve with small New Potatoes and Peas or Runner Beans.
  • A great favourite with families in the U.K.
