FRIED PLAICE WITH LEMON OR TARTER SAUCE

- 2 full Plaice = i.e. 4 fillets shopping list
- 1 large egg shopping list
- breadcrumbs shopping list
- olive oil shopping list
How to make it
- Wash fish fillets and pat dry.
- Whisk the egg - depending on size you may need 2 eggs.
- Dip the fish into the Egg mix and then
- Put the breadcrumbs on a plate and coat the fish in the breadcrumbs
- Put Olive oil in the pan, and lightly fry each fillet turning when the first side is cooked
- Serve with slices of Lemon, or, if desired, Tarter Sauce.
- Serve with small New Potatoes and Peas or Runner Beans.
- A great favourite with families in the U.K.
