Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • Beat eggs then stir in milk, sugar, salt and flour beating constantly with a wire whisk.
  • Pour batter into sizzling hot pans on top of melted butter and bake for 35 minutes.
  • Remove from pans.
  • Serve warm with jelly, sour cream, syrup, honey or powdered sugar.

    I made this for my boyfriend and his father (Austrian decent) and they both loved it - I did add the apples and it was gobbled before I could serve it! Thank you soooo much for our new Sunday Breakfast Feast!

    Hope you don't mind the pics, i made this and wondered if someone had it up already in here, i didn't want to repost the same recipe again, i will just add here the version i got.

    *add vanilla if you like, maybe some lemmon zest?

    This is good with peaches or apples. Around here they are called Dutch Babies. From the PA Dutch, who come from Germany mostly. I think the name in German is similar to what you call it.
