This dish is comfort food, an American Beef Stew that can be made with Stew meat or Hamburger and a variety of vegatables.

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs cooked hamburger or stew meat chunks
  • 4 cups Pacific Organic Beef Broth
  • 4 medium Russet or Yukon Gold potatos
  • 2 cups baby carrots sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups choped celery including the greens
  • 1/2 cup choped yellow onion
  • 1 14 oz. can of chopped tomatos
  • 1 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • 1 1/2 cup frozen corn
  • other vegatables may be used/added
  • Dashes of seasoned pepper
  • medium pinch of Parsley
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions
  1. Pre cook the stew meat (in a little water) (beef shank is good with the stew meat, remove the bone and use the meat from the bone with the stew meat) or fry the hamburger choped up, it's a lot faster.
  2. Add all ingredients to a three quart pan or crock pot.
  3. cook until potatos are done. ( about 30-45 minunes on stovetop or 4 1/2 hours in crockpot on high)
