Amaretto Strawberries Recipe

Amaretto Strawberries Recipe
Saw a similar post from Wynnebaer and it reminded me of these berries we used to eat all the time. Since it is almost strawberry season thought it would be the perfect time to post.

Ingredients
  • Large strawberries
  • Amaretto
  • Whipped cream
  • As many servings as you want - good for just you and your honey or put them out for a crowd.

Directions
  1. Clean strawberries and cut the top off.
  2. Scoop out the middle of strawberries making it like a small cup.
  3. Fill each strawberry with Amaretto.
  4. Top with whipped cream.
  5. Pop the whole strawberry into your mouth.
  6. These are best when made right as you are going to eat them. Put clean berries in a bowl, Amaretto in a small pitcher (like a creamer), and whipped cream in a bowl or use the canned kind. Show everyone how to assemble and then stand back and let them do the work. They'll be happy to!

Oh yeah, baby....

SWEET!!!!!

These are really good! I also like to stuff the hollowed out strawberries by adding a quick mixture of cream cheese(softened) with a little powdered sugar then drizzling the whole stuffed strawberry with melted chocolate then letting them chill a few minutes--(yummy)pretty too!

Yum....
