How to make it

  • Wash and grate the carrots finely.
  • Fry the grated carrots in ghee until the colour turns bright
  • Keep churning the carrots occasionally to avoid them from getting burnt.
  • Pour the milk and cook the carrots still soft .
  • Add sugar and simmer till the mixture thickens
  • Add the flavouring .
  • Sprinkle with cashew nuts or flaked almonds.
  • Serve hot or cold .
