Jack Daniels Chicken Recipe
A smooth creamy whiskey coated chicken, great for a weekend meal with the friends.

Ingredients
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 tablespoons chopped shallots or scallions
  • 1/2 to 1 cup Jack Daniels Whiskey
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 4 teaspoons tarragon,chopped
  • juice of 1/2 lemon

Directions
  1. Saute chicken breasts in butter (approx 7 minutes per side); wrap in foil and keep warm in 350* oven.
  2. Saute shallots.
  3. Add Jack Daniels and light with a match, flame will be high, let flame die down.
  4. Add broth and tarragon
  5. Fast boil, uncovered, until sauce reduces to thick syrupy glaze (this takes longer than you think).
  6. Add lemon juice and cream; simmer until thickened.
  7. Put chicken breasts into sauce to coat.
  8. *Serving Suggestion*
  9. Serve with noodles or rice to utilize the yummy sauce.
